Mataram University signed MoU with Murdoch University, Australia
Mataram, Mataram University – Mataram University signed a MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Murdoch University, Australia on Friday (16/6) in Mataram University at Rector’s Conference Room.
The signing of the MoU was carried out by the Rector of Mataram University, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D. together with Professor Martin Anda from Murdoch University, Australia and then the meeting was followed by a discussion.
“Hoppfully that the advent of Murdoch University can open up greater opportunities for cooperation, and bring benefits to the community, especially in NTB,” said the 10th Rector of Mataram University.
In the discussion, they discuss about the cooperation plan between Mataram University and Murdoch University in the field of research and academics. Prof. Martin explained several field centers that they focus on for their university, such as the Center for Sustainable Aquatic Ecosystems, the Center for Terrestrial Ecosystem Science and Sustainability, the Center for Water, Energy and Waste, and the Center for Biosafety and One Health. Some of these field centers are potential for Mataram University to carry out relevant cooperation with Murdoch University.
“It is an honor for me to be involved in the project that we will collaborate together. Especially for the progress in NTB region in the future,” said Prof. Martin.
Prof. Martin mentioned that NTB is a very interesting place, so that working with Mataram University to conduct research is the right choice.
