Monev on Research and Community Service of LPPM Unram: Excellence Strategy to Improve Research and Service Competitiveness
Mataram, University of Mataram – The Research and Community Service Institute of the University of Mataram (LPPM Unram) held Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) for research and community service projects funded by PNBP Funds in 2024 on Monday, September 2, 2024.
This Monev is intended to assess the progress, effectivity, and impact of the various programs that have been implemented. This event is part of Unram’s strategic efforts to improve the competitive edge of research and community service in supporting the university’s vision towards academic excellence.
The Head of LPPM Unram, Prof. Dr. Ir. Sukartono, M.Agr. said that this monev is a strategic step to ensure that every research and community service program not only achieves academic goals, but also produces quality outcomes and provides tangible benefits to the community. This monev shows the commitment of LPPM Unram to ensure that the results of each project can be applied practically and have a broad positive impact.
“In this monev, we evaluate various schemes covering various fields, ranging from technological innovation to community training programs. Our main focus is to ensure that every research and community service conducted produces outputs that not only meet high academic standards, but are also relevant and beneficial to society. This includes the application of research results in real solutions, improvement of community skills, and contribution to local social and economic development,” Prof. Sukartono explained.
The professor of the Faculty of Agriculture emphasized, “This Monev is not only a place to assess the progress and effectivity of each program, but also as a strategy to improve the competitiveness of Unram’s research and community service. We believe that through in-depth evaluation, we can identify strengths and areas that need to be improved, as well as devise strategies that are superior for the future. This is in line with our efforts to improve Unram’s reputation at the national and international levels.”
The implementation of this monev reflects LPPM Unram’s commitment in creating innovations that benefit the community, such as agricultural technology development, entrepreneurship training, and various other initiatives. Through this monev, LPPM Unram hopes to optimize the results of each project, strengthen collaboration between researchers, communities, and industries, and ensure transparency and accountability in fund management.
