Public Lecture by Ministry of Finance & PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (Persero): Benefits of the State Budget through SMF as the Ministry of Finance’s SMV in the Growth of the Housing Sector
Mataram, University of Mataram – Hundreds of Mataram University (Unram) students attended a public lecture by the Ministry of Finance and PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (Persero) on Thursday (30/05) in the Senate Conference Room of the Unram Rectorate.
Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of Unram, Prof. Dr. Sitti Hilyana, M.Si. when opening the event expressed his hope that this activity could provide additional knowledge and information for students.
“We are 21st nationally in terms of livable houses. It will be very ironic when we have a lot of natural resources but on the other hand the people are still poor. Therefore, this public lecture can help students to get information and increase knowledge about programs, especially in helping low-income people to overcome poverty, especially from the settlement and housing sector,” he said.
In the public lecture, the first speaker Muhammad Nahdi as Head of Sub-Directorate of KND II Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN), Ministry of Finance delivered material related to “The Role of DJKN in the Implementation of the State Budget”. Then, followed by the second speaker, Martin D Siyaranamual as Chief Economist of PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial delivered material related to “The Role of SMF as the Ministry of Finance’s SMV in Supporting Growth in the Housing Sector (Housing Financing Market)”.
Furthermore, at the end of the session a discussion session was held by a number of students and closed with a plaque exchange between Unram and SMF.
