Returns to Unram: 18 International Students of TIME Program Start Second Semester
Mataram, University of Mataram – Eighteen international students who participated in the TIME Program (Tailored International Masters Education) returned to Unram to undergo the second semester of study. Their arrival back to Unram was warmly welcomed by the Director of Postgraduate Unram and his staff in the courtroom II of the Unram Postgraduate Building, Wednesday, April 17, 2024.
This activity was also attended by the Director of SEC, Dean of FKIP Unram, Unram Bilingualization and Internationalization Coordinator, Head of Master of Management and Master of Educational Administration, and several lecturers.
In his remarks, the Postgraduate Director, Prof. Dr. Aliefman Hakim, S.Si., M.Si. conveyed the Postgraduate’s commitment to developing a better system.
“We will continue to provide not only good education, but also decent facilities for all students, including foreign students who pursue Doctoral and Masters education at Postgraduate Unram,” he said.
He also hopes that in addition to learning activities, this opportunity will also become a place for cultural exchange between students, lecturers and the management at Unram.
“Through the new things that foreign students experience in Lombok, hopefully they can find new insights to learn or analyze,” he added.
He believes that learning activities should not only take place inside the classroom, but also outside the classroom, because one of the goals of education is allow us to see things in a different perspective. Analyzing the system and environment will be an extension of learning activities in the classroom.
