Strengthen Synergy, Dharma Wanita Persatuan of Unram Receives Visit from Dharma Wanita Persatuan of Unsulbar for Women’s Empowerment
Mataram, University of Mataram – Dharma Wanita Persatuan of the University of Mataram (DWP Unram) received a visit from DWP of the University of West Sulawesi (Unsulbar) on Friday, October 4, 2024. The activity took place at the Unram Rectorate with a warm and intimate atmosphere and was attended by all members of the DWP Unram.
The Head of DWP Unram, Mrs. Agustin Rahmawati Bambang Hari Kusumo warmly welcomed the Unsulbar DWP group. On this occasion, Mrs. Agustin emphasized the importance of synergy between organizations to increase the role of women in education and social aspects.
During the visit, various programs that have been implemented by the Unram DWP were discussed, including training, various competitions, preserving local culture, social activities, and self-development for Unram DWP members.
“This visit is a meaningful step in building synergy and sharing experiences. With the synergy between DWP Unram and DWP Unsulbar, we hope to develop programs that are more effective and positively impact women in the campus environment and society,” said Mrs. Agustin.
On the other hand, the Head of Unsulbar DWP, Mrs. Rosnany Abdy expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome given by DWP Unram.
“We are very grateful to DWP Unram for welcoming us so warmly. The family atmosphere that we feel makes this visit even more valuable. We hope this visit can be the beginning of a synergy that brings a lot of benefits to both organizations, as well as contributing to the empowerment of women in each region,” she said.
DWP Unram on this occasion also introduced Mandalika, a tourist destination that is now a favorite in West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB). Mandalika is known for its natural beauty and various international events held there, attracting the attention of domestic and international tourists.
This visit is expected to strengthen the network and cooperation between the two organizations, and can encourage both organizations to jointly develop more innovative programs with a focus on women’s empowerment and positive contributions to the wider community.
