The Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Opened Bimtek Event Competency Test for Laboratory Functional Positions and Credit Score Recognition for PLP
Mataram, University of Mataram – The Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of University of Mataram opened the Technical Guidance for Competency Test for Laboratory Functional Positions and Recognition of Credit Rate Assessment for Educational Laboratory Institutions in accordance with RB Regulation No. 1 of 2023. The activity was intended for the Educational Laboratory Institution (PLP) and laboratories in the Unram environment was held at the Unram Dome on Wednesday (26/7).
In her speech, Prof. Dr. Sitti Hilyana or commonly called Nana revealed that currently Unram needs to talk about an integrated laboratory not in terms of infrastructure, but how soft structure, namely human resources.
“I hope it’s not the first and last meeting but there should be further meetings, because on the other hand, laboratories are very important, laboratories spread across all faculties, of course, we must upgrade, we must improve, both the tools, the building, and the human resources, “she said.
Prof. Nana explained that the laboratory is the life and heart of the university, without a heart and pulse like someone who is lifeless. Therefore, Unram laboratory workers to continue, to strive, to improve the quality.
“The laboratory must be integrated, so that, the existence of renewable tools which used by the study program can increase capacity and better quality. Born together programs to develop existing laboratories. That is an important part, so that, in the future we can move together to advance Unram,” she concluded.
The event also presented two speakers, namely Dr. Komar Sutriah, M.Si. lecturer of Chemistry FMIPA IPB and UKOM PLP Assessment Team, as well as Mamat Rahmat, S.Sos., M.M. Pusbangpeg ASN BKN and the Central Assessment Team.
