Towards PTN-BH, Unram Hosts FGD on State Finance Goes to Campus
Mataram, University o-f Mataram The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenkeu RI) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on State Finance Goes to Campus on Tuesday (4/6) in the Senate Conference Room, Rectorate of Unram.
This activity was warmly welcomed by the Rector of Unram, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Bambang Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D., as the host. When giving a speech, Prof. Bambang revealed that this activity was important to be carried out as a provision in managing finances.
“The financial sector really determines the way to achieve whatever Unram has aspired to. We rely on budget conditions, so the financial sector must have criteria and values in financial management. It is hoped that this activity can later be used as a form of provision in managing finances, “he said.
Also present on the occasion was the Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury (Regional Office DJPb) of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province, Ratih Hapsari Kusumawardhi. In her remarks, she revealed that the Public Service Agency (BLU) must prioritize services without prioritizing profits.
“For NTB, the largest PNBP (Non-Tax State Revenue) is contributed by BLU Unram. Hopefully the PNBP can be utilized as it should. The most important utilization of PNBP is that BLU must also strive for services without prioritizing profits,” he said.
Some of the speakers invited in this FGD were the Vice Rector for Finance and General Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sukardi, M.Pd.; Head of Budget Development Division I DJPb, Ircham, S.E.; and Deputy Head of Working Group I of the State Institutional Revisiting Team, DJA, Hery Alif Listiyanto, S.E., M.S.E; with moderator Nur Aida Arifah Tara, M.Si., Ph.D. as a member of Unram’s Internal Audit Unit (SPI).
The FGD discussed matters such as Fiscal Independence of BLU, Performance of PTN BLU, and Performance Supervision of PTN BLU. Through this activity, it is expected to improve financial management and budget performance at Unram.
