Towards Superior Accreditation, Unram Holds Superior Accreditation Preparation Meeting

Mataram, University of Mataram – University of Mataram (Unram) held a meeting in preparation for University Accreditation on Tuesday, 14 May 2024 at the Rector’s Conference Room, Unram Rectorate.

The Vice Rector for Academic Affairs as well as the person in charge, Prof. Dr. Sitti Hilyana, M.Si., on the occasion explained that Unram’s superior accreditation is a priority.

“University Superior Accreditation is a priority. Why is this a priority, because there are several Rector’s programmes that can be implemented if Unram is accredited superior, if it is not accredited superior then there are priority programmes that we really want but we cannot execute, especially when we talk about how to implement the synchronisation of academic programmes and Permendikbudristek No. 53,” said Prof. Nana.

Furthermore, Prof. Nana on the same occasion mentioned that in order to implement the synchronisation of academic programs and Permendikbudristek No. 53, it is very important to oversee the superior accreditation process.

Prof. Nana then conveyed the seriousness of the Rector of Unram in supporting the achievement of superior accreditation.

“The Rector has determined that whatever budget is needed by accreditation will be prepared by the university,” she concluded.

The meeting went smoothly so that it is expected to continue to increase enthusiasm in improving coordination and communication to ensure that all preparations made run smoothly in accordance with the targets and schedules that have been set.

This meeting marked Unram’s concrete steps to improve quality and become a research-based and internationally competitive university. Through this meeting, Unram is optimistic that it can achieve the superior accreditation that has been coveted.
