Unram Achieves Public Information Disclosure Award 2024, Maintain “Informative” Predicate
Mataram, University of Mataram – University of Mataram (Unram) once again received the 2024 Public Information Disclosure Award organized by the Central Information Commission of the Republic of Indonesia. This prestigious event took place at Movenpick Hotel, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (17/12) and became an important moment for Unram as the only university in NTB that won this award for the second time.
This year, Unram again showed a strong commitment to public information disclosure under the leadership of Rector Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D. Only 35 State Universities (PTN) in Indonesia received this award, and Unram made it into the list, scoring 97.40 which was higher than the previous year. With this score, Unram again maintained the title as an “Informative” public institution.
The event began with a mesmerizing welcome dance, followed by a report from Nunik Purwanti, Secretary of the Central Information Commission. The event continued with opening remarks by Donny Yoesgiantoro, Chairman of the Central Information Commission, who appreciated the important role of public bodies in providing transparent and accessible information to the public.
In this award ceremony, public information agencies were divided into seven award categories, including ministries, non-ministerial government agencies, non-structural institutions, provincial governments, state-owned enterprises, universities, and political parties.
Unram, which received an award in the university category, showed that this success was the result of hard work by all parties, especially in terms of managing and delivering more transparent public information.
With this extraordinary achievement, Unram has again proven its dedication in supporting information openness and transparency in the world of higher education in Indonesia. Prof. Bambang, as Rector, stated that this award is a motivation for all Unram academicians to continue to improve information services that are fast, precise, and accurate to the public.
“This is an extraordinary achievement and is clear evidence that Unram is fully committed to providing information that is transparent and easily accessible to the public. We will continue to strive to maintain and improve the quality of our information services,” said Prof. Bambang enthusiastically.
