Unram Fully Prepares for 2025 UTBK

Mataram, University of Mataram – University of Mataram (Unram) has carefully prepared itself to organize the Computer-Based Written Test (UTBK) for the National Selection of New Student Admissions (SNPMB) in 2025. The preparation has started since January, covered technical aspects, infrastructure, and human resources.
“Overall, Unram has prepared all things related to new student admissions, starting from SNBP, SNBT, to Mandiri selection,” said Unram’s Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sitti Hilyana. She emphasized that this year’s UTBK preparation was carried out carefully, including checking computer specifications, network readiness, and mitigating the risk of technical problems.
In addition, Unram also pays attention to the comfort of participants. One of the innovations implemented is the provision of special light snacks for participants who have not had breakfast, to maintain their stamina and concentration during the exam. “Not many universities do this. We want to ensure that prospective students are in optimal condition during the exam,” she added when interviewed by the Unram Public Relations Team on Sunday, April 27, 2025.
Unram also prepares a medical team that is ready to help participants if needed. This medical team is alerted to provide first aid in case of unexpected things during the exam. “The health of participants is our priority, therefore we prepare a medical team that is always ready at the exam location,” she explained.
Unram will accept 3,358 new students from the SNBT pathway this year, which is 50% of the total undergraduate program admission quota. The total UTBK registrants this year reached 14,498 participants, an increase of 18.6% compared to the previous year. In fact, participants came from 27 provinces in Indonesia, showing that Unram is increasingly recognized nationally.
In the implementation of UTBK, Unram also tightened supervision to prevent cheating and question leakage. Extra checks were conducted on participants.

Do not let you stay up late the night before, wake up late, or rush during the exam. All of that can interfere your focus. We hope you can study quietly well before the exam. On the night before the exam, make sure you get enough sleep and prepare yourself well mentally. With careful preparation, I am sure you will face this exam better and achieve satisfactory results. Hopefully you can continue your education in the best place for your future.”
