Unram Internationalization and Bilingualization Team Compiles International Class Curriculum
Mataram, University of Mataram – The Internationalization and Bilingualization Team of the University of Mataram (TIBUM) held an International Class Curriculum Preparation activity at the University of Mataram (Unram) for three days starting Wednesday, July 26, 2023 – Friday, July 28, 2023 at Santika Hotel.
The activity discussed the overview of international classes, curriculum, and preparation strategies for the implementation of international classes presented by the IUP Team of the Faculty of Law and Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). Furthermore, the development and management of the INDEEP Unram website was also discussed to support international class readiness by the UGM KUI Website Team.
The Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Unram, Prof. Dr. Sitti Hilyana when opening the activity said that the teams from the Office of International Affairs, TIBUM, and other related teams must continue to collaborate and not run separately.
“That’s the only formula to be able to walk in achieving goals when we want to internationalize Unram,” she said.
The Vice Rector I of Unram also explained that the internationalization of Unram in it has one of the programs, namely the international class.
“This international class is Unram’s priority program, so, we must really take it seriously. We need to know how many study programs are ready enough, half ready, and not ready. It has to be clustered,” said Prof. Dr. Sitti Hilyana.
Prof. Dr. Sitti Hilyana said that through clustering, the strengths and weaknesses can be known. So that, the universities can also fill the gaps for these weaknesses.
“Hopefully, in the near future we can immediately implement what is the output of our activities for the next three days. How do we arrange the tools starting from the curriculum that must be built, international standards, then infrastructure capacity. This is what we must strengthen,” she said.
