Unram Prepares Students for Peksiminas XVII

Mataram, University of Mataram – On Thursday, August 29, 2024, the University of Mataram (Unram) held a preparation meeting to face the XVII National Student Art Week (Peksiminas). The meeting was held in the Main Conference Room, Rectorate of Unram and was attended by a number of important figures, including the Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni, Dr. Sujita, S.T., M.T.; Head of Student Affairs Working Group; Head of Unram MBPIK Team; and Student Advisors.

The meeting was led by Dr. Sujita, who emphasized the importance of careful preparation to achieve the best results in this prestigious event.

“Peksiminas XVII is a golden opportunity for Unram students to showcase their creativity and artistic talents at the national level. Good preparation will determine our success in this event,” said Dr. Sujita in his speech.

During the meeting, various important aspects related to the preparation for Peksiminas XVII were discussed. Some of the main topics include the determination of the team that will compete, the training schedule that must be followed, and the budget required for the competition.

The Head of the Student Affairs Working Unit, Ir. Abdul Faruk, MM. conveyed a coordination plan involving various related parties, to ensure that preparations were conducted optimally.

In addition, participating students were given the opportunity to express their opinions and suggestions regarding their preparations. The dynamic discussion aimed to ensure that all parties were involved in the planning process and able to contribute significantly.

As a result of the meeting, a regular meeting schedule was set and tasks were assigned to each committee. This is expected to smoothen the preparation and coordination process ahead.

Peksiminas XVII is scheduled to take place in September 2024 at the University of State Jakarta. This event is expected to not only be an opportunity for Unram students to prove their abilities in the field of arts and culture, but also as a means to achieve superior achievements that will make the university proud. Careful preparation and high commitment are expected to bring brilliant results for Unram.
