Mataram, University of Mataram — The University of Mataram (Unram) held its monthly flag ceremony on Monday, July 6, 2026, at the Rectorate Courtyard. The event was attended by university leaders, lecturers, and administrative staff as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to strengthen synergy across the entire academic community.

In her address, the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Information Systems, Dr. Sitti Latifah, S.Hut., M.Sc.Forest.Trop., emphasized the importance of accelerating the implementation of the university’s priority programs as a shared responsibility of the entire academic community. She noted that the success of institutional initiatives depends not only on university leadership but also on the collective commitment of all stakeholders, including faculties, study programs, and administrative support units.

She highlighted the crucial role of lecturers in advancing academic transformation through improving the quality of teaching, research, scientific publications, collaborative partnerships, community service, and student mentoring to foster achievement and global competitiveness. At the same time, she encouraged administrative staff to continue delivering services that are efficient, accurate, well-organized, and responsive as the foundation of good university governance.

Dr. Sitti Latifah also stressed that the achievement of the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) is a collective accomplishment involving every unit within Unram.

“KPIs should not be viewed merely as administrative targets, but as indicators of institutional quality, graduate excellence, the relevance of learning, faculty productivity, and the strength of the university’s governance and partnerships,” she stated.

She further emphasized, “Acceleration does not mean working hastily. Rather, it means reducing obstacles, strengthening coordination, clarifying objectives, and ensuring that every program produces tangible and meaningful outcomes.”

Through a spirit of collaboration and shared commitment, Unram aims to continuously enhance its institutional performance while strengthening its contribution to society.
