Unram Rector Inspects Campus Environment, Ensuring Facilities are in Optimal Condition

Mataram, University of Mataram – The Rector of the University of Mataram (Unram), Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D., inspected the condition of the campus environment on Friday (14/2) morning. This activity aims to ensure that campus facilities are maintained and support academic activities.
In his inspection, the Rector of Unram observed several areas that needed further improvement and arrangement. One of the concerns is the renovation of the Faculty of Animal Science Building, which is currently in progress. In addition, the construction of a new building to the west of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Building is also being prepared to increase academic and research facilities.
Other than infrastructure, Prof. Bambang also paid attention to spots on campus where there are still trash piles. He immediately instructed the cleaners to clean them up during the review.
“We want to ensure that the campus infrastructure continues to be improved and developed so that students and lecturers can do their activities comfortably. Environmental cleanliness is also a concern because a clean campus will create a better learning atmosphere,” said Prof. Bambang.
On the same occasion, the Rector also reviewed the plan to build a zebra cross in front of the Arena Budaya Building, right on the way out of Unram. This crossing path will make it easier for pedestrians, especially students and staff, to cross safely and in well organized.
Efforts to improve facilities and cleanliness are in line with Unram’s commitment to create a better campus environment that supports academic and non-academic activities and research.
