Unram Releases 583 MSIB Batch 6 & Campus Teaching Batch 7 Students
Mataram, University of Mataram – The Acceleration Unit for Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (UP MBKM) of University of Mataram (Unram) held a student release ceremony for the Batch 6 Certified Internship and Independent Study (MSIB) programme and Batch 7 Teaching Campus (KM) on Monday (19/2) at the M. Yusuf Abu Bakar Auditorium, Unram.
On this occasion, Unram released 583 students consisting of 112 certified internship students, 140 certified independent study students, and 331 teaching campuses spread across 67 companies / partners throughout Indonesia and 121 schools.
The event was opened by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sitti Hilyana, M.Si. In her speech, she advised to maintain the good name of the almamater in each programme location.
“Students later at the place of work, at the place of internship, at the place of independent study, at the place of campus teaching, must maintain the great name of the University of Mataram. Our almamater, which is blue and has the logo of the University of Mataram, is not just a body cover when we are cold, or when we have a certain time, but more than that the meaning is very deep. How do we carry the big name of our institution, the good name of our institution,” she said.
Unram’s Certified Internship Coordinator, Azhari Efendi, S.Sos., M.A. in his report conveyed a significant increase in the number of participants from the previous year to this year.
“This year the most MSIB participants passed and the most registrants too. If we look, I’ll just say this, MSIB has 1325 students who submitted recommendation letters. But those who registered were not 100%, only 983 students and those who passed were 252, and yesterday one resigned, so 251. In total, the chance of Unram students passing is 25.6%. It’s actually quite high,” he said.
With the increasing interest of students in participating in various Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) programmes, it is expected to add high value to Unram’s Main Performance Index (IKU).
