“Since the beginning of this program, I have actively participated in various competitions, both at the internal and national levels. To be able to join the program, besides the English language proficiency certificate, it is also necessary to have achievements in both academic and non-academic fields. I believe that every step I’ve made is part of the journey towards greater achievements,” explained Aulia when interviewed by Unram Public Relations on Friday, August 2, 2024.

Aulia revealed that the IISMA program is very supportive of her long-term career and education plans.

“I have the opportunity to broaden my academic and professional horizons in an international environment. I can learn global education methodologies that will enrich my perspective and improve my analytical and adaptation skills. So that I am better prepared to face global challenges,” she said.

On this occasion, Aulia chose Palacky University Olomouc, Czech Republic as her main destination because it is known for its high quality education and research facilities that can support academic development.

“The education system here combines traditional teaching methods with modern approaches, emphasizing the importance of research and practical applications, as well as adequate academic support to support the success of studies,” said Aulia.

To join this program, Aulia has prepared herself thoroughly by checking and ensured that all the requirements listed on the IISMA website have been completed. Starting with preparing the necessary documents, such as essays and academic transcripts.

Not only that, Aulia also tried to maintain her physical and mental health to be ready to face the challenges that could potentially arise during the IISMA program. She also coordinates with lecturers and campus officials to ensure that all her academic preparations are in line with her study abroad goals.

On the other hand, to face the challenges in the destination country in terms of culture, the Czech Republic has a rich and diverse history, with influences stemming from various periods of its history, including Habsburg, Soviet, and local traditions. This gives Aulia a distinct international experience.

“To prepare myself for this, I studied the Czech language and culture through online courses and literature, and searched for information about the education system and daily life through social media or forum websites in Czech Republic. Most importantly, I prepared myself mentally and physically by maintaining my health and conditioning, as well as organizing a solid financial plan. With this preparation, I feel more ready to face challenges and make the most of this opportunity,” she explained.

Through this activity, Aulia is committed to being actively involved in volunteering activities or projects that can be applied at Unram and the local community to deliver a real positive impact.

” In this way, I hope to enrich the campus community and encourage more students to take a global step,” she concluded.
