Unram Transformation Synergy Workshop Towards PTN-BH
Mataram, University of Mataram – The University of Mataram (Unram) held a workshop and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the Alignment of Documents for the Unit for the Acceleration of PTN-BLU Transformation Towards PTN-BH on Saturday, 2 November 2024 at the Aston Inn Mataram Hotel and was attended by important university officials.
The workshop was attended by the Vice Rector for Finance and General Affairs; Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Information Systems; Head and Secretary of the PTN-BH Acceleration Team; Head of Institutions; and Head of UPA. In addition, the deans within Unram and the field coordinators also participated in this activity.
The event began with remarks from the Chairperson of the PTN-BH Acceleration Team, Prof. Dr. Ir. Lalu Wirasepta Kariyadi, M.Si., who emphasised the importance of document alignment to support the transformation of university status and also presented the results of the Inspector General’s team petition on the transformation of Unram’s PTN-BLU into PTN-BH.
“The alignment of documents is very important to ensure Unram can fulfil all the requirements needed in the transformation process to PTN-BH. We also need to optimise the synergy between units to achieve maximum results, in accordance with the findings of the Inspector General’s team in the petition test conducted,” he said.
After the speech, the event was officially opened by the Vice Rector for Finance and General Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sukardi, M.Pd., who gave directions on the strategic steps that need to be taken in the transformation process.
“The strategic steps we have compiled will help Unram adapt to the demands of governance as a PTN-BH. This effort requires strong coordination and alignment of vision from all parties within the university,” said Prof. Sukardi.
Prof. Sukardi also explained the update of analytical PTN-BH components and improvement targets.
In this activity, several presentations were delivered by field coordinators, such as presentations on data deficiencies in ED documents and data that need to be updated, presentations on the identification of data and information that are still lacking in the transition plan document, presentations on the identification of data and information that are still lacking in the RPJP document.
Furthermore, the presentation of the latest update of the PTN-BH statute draft document, the presentation of the latest update of the PTN-BH urgency script document, and the presentation of the identification of Unram’s income generating opportunities.
Meanwhile, in the FGD session, each field conducted group discussions to identify incomplete data and proposed improvements. Afterwards, the FGD results and recommendations that have been discussed are presented.
This workshop and FGD are expected to produce recommendations and concrete steps to strengthen Unram’s readiness in facing the change of status to PTN-BH, as well as increasing synergy between units in achieving common goals.
