UP MBKM-IKU Unram Holds IKU 5 Workshop, Increases KKN Contribution to Accreditation
Mataram, University of Mataram – The Independent Campus Learning Implementation and Main Performance Indicators Unit of the University of Mataram (UP MBKM-IKU Unram) held an IKU 5 Workshop on Saturday (07/27) at the Unram Senate Conference Room.
This workshop was started by the Head of UP MBKM-IKU, Prof. Muhamad Ali, Ph.D who reported that IKU 5 has been running well and continues to increase and the points achieved by Unram are around 6,000 so it deserves to be ranked 5th.
“Our previous target was 5th place because the points obtained were around 6,000. But there are several things that become obstacles, one of them is the number of lecturers around 1,350,” he said.
He added that LPPM also greatly contributed to the increase in Unram’s accreditation. “In addition to IKU, LPPM also contributes significantly to accreditation because it is related to publications and citations,” he added.
Furthermore, the Head of LPPM Unram, Prof. Dr. Ir. Sukartono, M.Agr also gave a speech and opened the workshop. In his speech, he said that Unram had achieved the 3rd IKU rank.
“Unram has achieved IKU 3, this proves that our performance continues to improve, therefore we must maintain and continue to improve,” he said.
He also emphasized that the selection process for KKN Field Supervisors (DPL) must be conducted properly so that the contribution of KKN can enrich IKU 2, IKU 3 and especially IKU 5.
The Rector of Unram also directed that there are several rules regarding KKN Unram activities needs to be revised. “There are several rules that need to be changed in KKN activities, including those related to attendance, reports and outcomes. If possible, the output weight is increased to 50%-60%, “he said.
He also explained that publication is very important and provided a special journal for KKN, emphasizing the UP MBKM-IKU Unram to continue to control on this matter. In addition, he emphasized the DPL to continue to direct KKN students so that the products are not wasted and sustainable.
In the workshop, the Head of the Center for KKN and Cooperation of LPPM Unram, Dr. Misbahudin, ST., MT, who explained related to KKN outcomes and the Head of the Academic and Student Affairs Bureau, Dwi Siswanto, S.Kom., MM, recognized KKN outcomes in IKU 2, and the workshop ended with discussion sessions.
