Mataram, University of Mataram – the University of Mataram (Unram) and the Institute Technology of Kalimantan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) within the Tri Dharma of higher education on Thursday, 10 August 2023 in the Rector’s Meeting Room, Unram Rectorate.

The visit of the Institute Technology of Kalimantan was welcomed by the Rector, Vice Rectors, Deans, Head of Study Programs under the rector, Head of Bureau along with Unram’s Cooperation and HTL Sub-Coordinators.

“There will be a lot of cooperation, and we at Unram have 9 faculties and several study programs under the rector. So, there is a lot of potential and we can plan what cooperation opportunities can be implemented together,” said Prof.  Bambang as the Rector of Unram.

Besides that, the Rector of Institute Technology of Kalimantan also said that his arrival at Unram was an honor, “It is an honor and pride for me to be able to come to Unram, a beautiful campus, our senior campus.  We hope this is not the last meeting between us and Unram,” he said.

The signing of the memorandum of understanding was carried out by the Rector of Unram, Prof.  Ir.  Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D.  and the Rector of Institute Technology of Kalimantan, Prof.  Dr.  Agus Rubiyanto, M.Eng.Sc.  where the memorandum of understanding includes cooperation in the fields of education and training, scientific research, community service, science and technology development, certification, and several other fields agreed upon by University of Mataram and Institute Technology of Kalimantan.

The both Rectors hoped that the meeting and signing of the MoU would produce results that would bring benefit for the development and the progress of the institutions.
